Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SupplierQualityElectricalEngineer with a focus on

cables, Copper commodity, Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding.

Qualification:

To ensure that supplied electrical components meet all technical, quality, and compliance requirements. The role involves working closely with suppliers, engineering, and procurement teams to qualify new cables and ensure ongoing supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cables,
  
  Coppercommodity,WindMillGeneratorStator&RotorWinding Qualification & Validation:
• Review supplier documentation including test certificates, specifications, and compliance reports.
• Participate in the qualification process for new cable types and alternate cable proposals & copper commodity.
• Validate cables as per industry standards (IEC, UL, VDE, etc.) and internal specifications.
• Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding Qualification & Validation

• Supplier Quality Management:

• Conduct supplier audits and process assessments with a focus on electrical commodity
• Support the selection, onboarding, and development of suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and manage improvement plans where necessary.

Technical Support:

• Act as a technical quality interface between internal engineering teams and suppliers.
• Provide input on drawings, BOM reviews, and specification alignment for cable-related components.
• Work with engineering to support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for field or production issues related to cables.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure supplier documentation is in place (RoHS, REACH, CE declarations, etc.).
• Maintain quality records related to qualifications and supplier approvals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or product engineering with a focus on electrical cables.
• Strong understanding of Electrical commodity related to Wind Mill Generator
• Experience in supplier audits, FAI/PPAP, and corrective action processes (8D, CAPA).
• Familiarity with quality tools: FMEA, SPC, MSA, and APQP.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and quality documentation tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with international suppliers and cross-functional collaboration.
• Understanding of environmental and regulatory requirements related to cables.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
