Manager - Product Data Management Operations

PDM Manager:
Position Objective:
Manager is responsible for leading and governing a team of Product Data Management professionals responsible for master data and engineering change execution in Agile PLM and SAP. coordination. The objective is to maintain data integrity, meet service commitments, and enable manufacturing, supply chain, and business continuity through effective people and process management.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership to a team of PDM Change Management Engineers.
- Own Site- level execution of Product Data Management activities including NPI, ECO, PCN and Obsolescence.

- Ensure adherence to global PDM processes, work instructions, attribute definitions and governance rules.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including change control, documentation standards, and audit readiness.
- Demonstrate strong medical and regulated product lifecycle process know- how, ensuring compliant master data and change execution for medical / regulated products.
- Set priorities, allocate workload, and manage capacity to meet SLA and business commitments.
- Review, approve, and govern complex or high- risk changes escalated by the team.
- Ensure data accuracy, revision control, release discipline and audit readiness across Agile PLM and SAP.
- by ensuring PDM readiness and execution capability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve cycle time, quality and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on PDM best practices, regulatory expectations and process improvements relevant to the function.
Education(List down minimum qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related technical discipline. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
Professional Experience (List down minimum qualifications):
- 8-12 years of experience in Product Data Management, Engineering Change Management or related master data functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in people or team leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of product structures, BOMs, revision control and configuration management principles.
- Hands- on working knowledge of Agile PLM and SAP ERP (MM); minimum 5 years preferred.
- Experience working in a global, multi- site operating model with cross- functional stakeholders.
