Credit Analyst - Microfinance

What role you will play in team: Evaluate creditworthiness of microfinance loan applicants, minimizing risk and supporting responsible lending.

What you will do: You will analyze financial data of microfinance clients and make recommendations for loan approval or rejection.

Key responsibility:

• Assess creditworthiness of microfinance loan applicants.
• Analyze financial data, including income statements and cash flow statements.
• Conduct field visits to verify applicant information (as needed).
• Prepare credit reports and make lending recommendations.
• Adhere to microfinance lending best practices and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit assessments.
• Contribute to the overall credit risk management of the company.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Understanding of microfinance lending principles and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in credit analysis or risk assessment preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
