Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Underwriter based in Delhi, India. The Commercial Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing risks, making underwriting decisions, and ensuring adequate pricing of insurance products. The role involves managing and reviewing financial documents, assessing loan and insurance applications, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders will be a key part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate risks and ensure accurate underwriting
• Expertise in underwriting processes and understanding of insurance principles
• Knowledge of finance and the ability to review and analyze financial documentation
• Familiarity with loans and related risk assessment practices
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and industry best practices
• Bachelors degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Professional certifications in insurance or finance are an added advantage
