Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities, presenting and demonstrating Schwing Stetter Indias construction equipment and concreting solutions to prospective and existing customers, and preparing technical proposals and quotations. The role involves providing technical guidance during pre-sales and post-sales activities, collaborating with internal technical and service teams to ensure appropriate solutions, and supporting customers with product selection and application optimization. The Sales Engineer will conduct site visits, gather and analyze customer requirements, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure timely resolution of technical and service-related queries. Daily activities include managing the sales pipeline, achieving assigned sales targets, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, and sharing market feedback to support product and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex construction equipment and concreting solutions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage expectations, and provide clear, professional support to diverse stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, opportunity management, and closing deals in an industrial or capital equipment environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline, or equivalent technical education, are beneficial.
• Experience in construction equipment, industrial machinery, or infrastructure projects, along with familiarity with the Greater Ahmedabad market, is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site and at customer locations, with a valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, as well as basic proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office applications.
