Job Description
- We are searching for a skilled BI & Data Engineer who will play a crucial role in assisting our client in constructing scalable data solutions, creating insightful dashboards, and developing business-driven data products.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the business to comprehend BI and data product requirements.
- Identify appropriate sources of data and collaborate with business data analysts to interpret the data.
- Extract the necessary data into the CDL (Azure Corporate Data Lake) platform.
- Construct data transformations (using DataBricks) to generate the necessary data sets and data products.
- Develop data visualizations (using Power BI) by leveraging the data stored in CDL.
- Provide support for the solutions developed.
- Continuously monitor usage and user satisfaction for ongoing improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives.
- Uphold data quality, governance, and security compliance in all deliverables.
- Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and offer long-term solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest features of Azure, Databricks, and Power BI to suggest innovative solutions.
- Conduct training or knowledge transfer sessions for business teams as needed.
Technical Must-Haves:
- Azure Data Factory
- DataBricks
- Power BI, including DAX queries
- SQL
- Proficient English communication skills (mandatory)

- Experience in designing scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
Technical Good to Have:
- Microsoft Azure (ADF, Synapse, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, etc.)
- Data Stage
- MicroStrategy
- Knowledge of Lean & Agile methodologies
- Exposure to CI/CD for data solutions
- Understanding of data modeling and dimensional design
- Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance frameworks
