Job Description
Summary :
The Purchasing Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to the company and the accuracy of expected date(s) of receipt maintained in the ERP system. They work closely with suppliers to track orders, resolve any issues and keep stakeholders informed of the status of incoming purchase orders.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure all purchase orders issued to suppliers have been confirmed and acknowledged.
Expedite late purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure expected receipt dates in ERP system are updated & accurate.
Keep stakeholders (buyers) informed of the status of their deliveries and any potential issues with incoming shipments.

Areas of Focus: -
Communication: The Purchasing Expeditor must be able to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders. They must be able to clearly explain the companys needs and expectations and be able to resolve any issues that arise.
Attention to detail: The Purchasing Expeditor must be able to accurately input and update expected delivery dates into the ERP system in a timely manner.
Organization: The Purchasing Expeditor must be able to keep track of multiple orders and shipments simultaneously. They must be able to prioritize their work and meet deadlines.
