Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our Quality Assurance team at Setoo Solution. The QA Intern will assist in testing software applications to ensure they meet our quality standards and function as intended. This internship provides hands-on experience in software testing, bug reporting, automation tools, and quality assurance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing of software applications to identify bugs and issues.
- Document test results and report defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Collaborate with the QA team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on testing progress.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test cases and test scripts.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.
- Knowledge of different types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, integration testing, performance testing, and API testing.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Rest Assured, and JIRA.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
