Solar Project Engineer (Solar Power Plant)

• Technical support to Business Development and Project Team in all stages of project including site feasibility, proposal submission, design finalization, technical discussions with customer, project execution and project handover.
• Perform site-specific engineering analysis and must be able to check the site feasibility and provide the best suitable option.
• Must have expertise on software like PV Syst, Google sketch up, Auto CAD used in the designing of electrical system.
• Designing Solar PV system layout, Preparing SLDs, PvSyst reports, Shadow & Shading Analysis, Sizing - Solar Array, Inverter, AC & DC Cable sizing, String Combiner Box, Earthing system design, Costing, BOQ/ BOM preparation, complete engineering drawings.
• Maintain awareness of new product technology and communicate.
• Interface with local officials and utility engineers to design the best system configuration.
• Interact with electricity utility companies and regulatory authorities with regard to net metering and other regulations/paperwork related to solar PV projects.
• Follow systems performance in the field and report power variations and other parameters.
• Detailed engineering of Roof top projects & assist in procurement.
• Responsible for hassle-free Solar Installation.
• Co-ordinate with internal and external team to complete the execution. He will be responsible for transforming the electrical and civil design on paper - into the actual field
• Provide technical direction or support to installation teams during installation, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
• Perform power and energy monitoring of large systems in the field and prepare summary reports.
• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience of handling solar PV Plant Design & installation.
• Experience in Designing Complete Solar Photovoltaic System, software like PvSyst/PVSol, AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up, Sizing - Solar Array, Inverter, AC & DC Cable sizing, String Combiner Box, Earthing system design.
• Technically proficient in the field of photovoltaic conversion, direct current circuits and protection designs with a working knowledge of solar PV system modelling.
• Familiar with international Standards for solar PV systems and other relevant standards.
• Self-motivated, high energy, Original thinkers, with project management skills, able to succeed in a team environment, with imagination, creativity, and vision, able to assume increasing responsibility.
• Good verbal and written communications skills with internal and external customers
• Knowledge of computer technology and be proficient PV Syst, Google sketch up, Auto CAD used in the designing of electrical system.
• Have a passion for renewable energy and want to ensure a future for the environment. Outstation trips may be required for technical support, training and internal/external meetings
