Desk Expeditor (Contractual Role)

Dear Candidate,

Greetings from SGS India Pvt. Ltd.

We are actively looking for Desk Expeditor professional with min 8 Yrs of Relevant Experience at our Mumbai and Nearby Mumbai locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that POs are issued to venders & they have provided order acceptance within stipulated time.
• Follow up for GAD submission & approval and maintain track record.
• Follow up with design team for approval of Engineering Deliverables within the time frame agreed in the PURCHASE ORDER.
• Get the Manufacturing Project schedule/Bar Chart from vendor.
• Tracking the manufacturing activities as per Project schedule/bar chart submitted by vendor.
  
• Checking the status of sub-vender ordering. If PO is issued & delivery if sub-ordered items.
• Delivery expedite/pre-pone to meet the project time.
• Vendor visit for delivery expediting, if required
• Working jointly with Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, Purchasing, Logistics.
• Coordinate with vender to Raise inspection calls.
• Coordinate with TPI to arrange inspection visits & followup for report submission.
• Get the dispatch details from vendor & co-ordinatation with trasnporter for get the timely delivery
• Ensure all documentation post ordering (like venders invoice, Bar Chart, GAD, Inspection test reports, Release Notes etc.)

Experience: Min 8 Yrs Relevant Experience

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech(Mechanical) or Diploma(Mechnical)
