Shadowfax - Associate Director - Network Control Tower

About the Role:

Shadowfax is looking for an experienced leader to drive the Network Control Tower function. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the logistics network through data-driven decision making, process optimization, automation, and cross-functional leadership.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical thinking with execution excellence and have experience managing large-scale operations, driving transformation initiatives, and influencing senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end performance of the Network Control Tower function across multiple cities/regions.

- Drive key operational KPIs including SLA adherence, turnaround time, cost efficiency, network utilization, productivity, and customer experience.

- Identify operational bottlenecks and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve network performance.

- Build scalable processes through automation, technology adoption, and continuous improvement.

- Lead strategic projects involving Operations, Product, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Experience teams.

- Build dashboards and governance mechanisms to monitor business health and enable proactive decision-making.

- Manage senior stakeholders and present business reviews, operational insights, and strategic recommendations to leadership.

- Mentor and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of ownership and execution excellence.

- Drive enterprise-level initiatives that improve network efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.

- 8-15 years of experience in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, Control Tower, Network Planning, Last Mile Operations, Program Management, or Business Excellence.

- Experience leading large cross-functional teams in high-growth environments.

- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or similar analytics tools.

- Proven experience in process improvement, automation, Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence initiatives.

- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous, and data-intensive environments.
