Materials Manager

We are searching for a qualified materials manager to oversee our inventory and purchasing operations. If you are an experienced and competent individual with in-depth knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures, then were looking for you! In this role, your duties will include maintaining budgets, analyzing materials, and researching vendors.

• Researching potential vendors and negotiating prices.
• Working with management to identify supply needs.
• Recommending solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.
• Recording and assessing all materials quality, movement, and expenditure.
• Managing the distribution of supplies in the organization.
• Monitoring inventory levels and access to the material.
• Collaborating with management to plan forecasting models.
• Overseeing and supporting subordinates and new employees.
• Preparing and filing detailed records on procurement activity, quantity, and vendors.
• Designing and maintaining department budgets.
