IT Infrastructure Engineer - Data Center & Cloud Operations

Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on L2 Infrastructure Engineer to support our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. The role requires strong knowledge of servers, VMware, SAN/NAS storage, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure (L2 level). The candidate will act as the local UAE infrastructure resource, providing datacenter smart-hands support, VIP support, and coordination with the India-based Infrastructure & Cloud Team.
Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain physical servers, VMware, SAN/NAS storage, and Windows Server environments.
• Provide datacenter smart-hands support including hardware troubleshooting, rack & stack, cabling, and vendor coordination.
• Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, storage, backup, networking basics, and monitoring.
• Administer and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication and assist in disaster recovery activities.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Perform server patching, health monitoring, preventive maintenance, and routine infrastructure support.
• Manage Active Directory users, permissions, security groups, and Group Policies.
• Provide dedicated VIP and executive user support.
• Coordinate with the Remote Infrastructure Team for project implementation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and escalations.

• Monitor infrastructure availability and support incident resolution within SLA.
  

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of Infrastructure Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Active Directory & Group Policy
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Veeam Backup
• Microsoft Azure (L2 Level)
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to provide professional VIP support and work effectively with remote teams.
  

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• VMware VCP
• ITIL Foundation
  

Role Objective:
The candidate will serve as the UAE Infrastructure Engineer, supporting Datacenter operations, coordinating with the India-based Infrastructure Team, providing smart-hands and VIP support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day infrastructure operations across on-premises and cloud platforms.
