Sr Data Analyst - Trading & Supply

Role Summary

Trading and Supply (T&S) Data Team is tasked with delivering tangible value to business units within Shell through strong operations management centered around Master Data Maintenance. The individual will join a growing T&S Data Organization which will be responsible on managing daily Master Data Maintenance requests with the goal of delivering these until completion within the agreed upon turn-around time. This role will involve coordinating with different stakeholders across Shell as well as looking for possible improvements within the process to eliminate process inefficiencies. The individual will also get the opportunity to join or even lead different Business Projects.

• Review, validate, and process requests relating to Trading & Supply data objects accurately (first-time-right) and in a timely manner.
• Fully comply with controls, defined policies, operating procedures including archiving requirements, and work instructions.
• Be responsible for addressing all queries related to requests and to coordinate with various focal points and stakeholders for resolution, as necessary.
• Regularly engage with the business partners and stakeholders to discuss issues and blockers (escalate as needed on a timely basis)
• Demonstrate process knowledge and excellence and act as technical lead when required.

Get Hired
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in the process. Play an active role as a member in improvement projects and lead improvement projects, as needed.
• Provide inputs on a timely basis for the purpose of updating documentation on controls, work instructions, procedures, etc. Ensure compliance to record archival process.
• Support data cleansing activities, as needed, to support business projects and initiatives.
• Prepares and do analysis on monthly key performance metrics of the team. Facilitate regular engagement with stakeholders to discuss KPI improvements.
