Job Description

As the Finance and Accounts Tower head based in Gurugram for one of our clients, your role will involve strategic leadership, operational excellence, team management, financial reporting and analysis, compliance, and risk management. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive finance strategy aligned with the organization's objectives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the finance team.

In terms of operational excellence, you will ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, monitor key performance indicators to track performance and identify areas for improvement, and manage and mitigate risks associated with financial operations. Your role will also involve recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Financial reporting and analysis will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, including preparing accurate and timely financial reports, conducting financial analysis to identify trends and variances, and providing insightful financial insights to support business decision-making. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards, implementing internal controls, and staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in finance and accounting leadership roles, preferably in a multinational organization, a strong understanding of O2C, AP, and R2R processes, expertise in financial accounting principles and standards, advanced knowledge of ERP systems and financial tools, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and process improvement.
