Job Description
- As a Frontend Developer at Eshopbox, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into actual code, bridging the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. Your role will involve defining how the application looks and works, collaborating with the UI/UX designer, and ensuring the visual elements of the application are produced effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing software with scalability, high availability, and reliability properties
- Optimizing the delivery of code and assets to browsers or devices
- Mentoring and training the engineering community on complex technical issues
- Developing new user-facing features
- Ensuring best development practices and participating in code reviews
- Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Validating all user input before submitting to the back-end
- Collaborating with team members and stakeholders
The current technology stack at Eshopbox includes:
- Backend: Spring (JAVA), Laravel (PHP), MySQL, NoSQL, NGINX Plus
- Frontend: Angular 5+ Ngrx/store 5
- Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform, Scrapy Cloud, Pusher.io, Getstream.io, Filestack, Postmark app, AS2 Gateway, Google Cloud Endpoints Framework, MongoDB, Alogia, Memcached
- Tools: Gitlab, Postman app, JIRA
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- B.Tech / B.E with 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong coding and design skills
- Sense of ownership and a passion for building scalable applications
- Commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product

- Proficient understanding of web markup, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools like Gimp or Photoshop
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, SVN
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills including self-motivation, persistence, patience, and eagerness to learn and work independently
