Role Description The Business Sales Manager (BSM) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ludhiana. The BSM is responsible for driving branch-level business growth by acquiring new customers, cross-selling products, and meeting sales and portfolio targets across Shriram Finances loan offerings. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and mentoring a sales team, planning and executing local marketing and customer outreach activities, and building strong relationships with customers, dealerships, and other channel partners. The role involves monitoring portfolio quality, ensuring timely collections, and adhering to internal guidelines and regulatory standards. The BSM also prepares regular performance reports, provides market feedback, and collaborates with branch leadership to improve processes and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including target achievement, customer acquisition, and portfolio expansion.
• Candidates should possess relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.
• Candidates should possess team leadership and people management abilities, including mentoring sales staff, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Candidates should possess basic financial and analytical skills, such as understanding loan products, assessing customer profiles, and monitoring portfolio quality and collections.
• Candidates should possess strong organizational and planning skills, including territory planning, activity scheduling, and report preparation.
• Relevant experience in NBFCs, banking, or financial services, especially in retail lending or commercial vehicle finance, would be beneficial.
• A graduate degree in any discipline is typically required; a postgraduate degree or MBA in finance, marketing, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Comfort with fieldwork, local market knowledge of Ludhiana and surrounding areas, and willingness to travel within the territory are important.
