We are hiring a Junior Executive Purchase & Inventory Control to support procurement, store operations, and inventory accounting at the plant level. The role requires strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and coordination with cross-functional teams including Accounts & Finance.
Procurement

• Prepare and process purchase orders as per company policies.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and assist in vendor negotiations.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, and discrepancies.
  

Inventory & Store Management

• Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of GRNs (Goods Received Notes) with proper documentation and timely system updates.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of MRNs (Material Receipt Notes) for traceability.
• Track inward and outward material movement and generate material issue reports.
• Maintain factory-level stock records and validate closing stock data.
  

Stock Control & Financial Alignment

• Record and monitor stock-out instances with reasons and usage tracking.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Identify and report stock variances for corrective action.
• Support preparation of stock reports during month-end and year-end closures.
  

Compliance & Coordination

• Ensure all inventory data aligns with procurement and accounting records.
• Work closely with Accounts, Finance, and Production teams for accurate reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and ensure audit readiness at all times.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) Preferred
• 02 years of experience in Purchase / Stores / Inventory / Accounts support
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and accounting principles
• Familiarity with Excel and ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
