Job Description


Position: Procurement Manager, Bangalore


Department: Procurement


Education: Any UG Qualification (Any management) and preferably MBA/PGDM degree from a recognized university

Experience: 7-8 years of relevant work experience


Requirement: Strong negotiation skills


Analytical and Meticulous:

– Ability to multitask and also ensuring quality of deliverables is consistent.

You will be responsible for coordinating with projects team for the assigned clients for pricing for new RFP’s,

Category Management, Contract Management, Rate Finalization, Vendor Selection and ensuring adherence and implementation of best procurement practices.

Apart for this, You need to ensure smooth delivery of all the other responsibilities assigned from time to time.

  • Drive and coordinate with Design and projects team for all project requirements

  • Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ)

  • Take of quantities of area (civil, electrical and mechanical works from GFC drawings)

  • Preparation of QS Report and Monthly Cash Flow.

  • Maintenance of Checklists & Drawings

  • Pre-Contractual & Post Contractual QS work

  • BOQ Preparations & Amendment/Change Order/Variation Order preparation & Approval.

  • Negotiate pricing or terms with vendors wherever required to provide best possible solution to all the stakeholders (clients, internal teams and the organisation).

  • Responsible for Vendor Selection, onboarding, development & management of all supplier relationships.

  • Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial practices. Troubleshoot or develop solutions for related problems.

  • Negotiating better contracts terms of cost and T&C with existing suppliers as well as sourcing new suppliers.

  • Participate in internal audits for Procurement Function for the assigned accounts, identifying risks, establishing risk mitigation and management plans for corporate and account procurement.

  • Manage S&P Manual, process guides, updates and process re-alignment activities.

  • Establishing effective communication channels with customers, vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve procurement operations, decrease turnaround time and streamline work processes.



Qualifications:



  • You should have a Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field required.

  • Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in a Sourcing & Procurement role in commercial real estate industry

  • Excellent PC skills – Advance MS office

  • Clear understanding of basic accounting/ finance reporting and practices

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of ERP like SAP / Oracle, JD Edward would be a plus

  • Good knowledge of suppliers, market trends, bidding process & negotiation
