Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Prayagraj. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank and ledger accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The role includes preparing financial statements, assisting in tax computations and filings, supporting GST and direct tax compliance, and collaborating with the team on audits and due diligence assignments. The Accountant will help prepare management reports, support payroll processing, and ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The position involves working closely with senior team members to support client engagements and contribute to efficient financial operations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in core accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliation, and preparation of financial statements.
• Knowledge of taxation and compliance, with exposure to GST, direct tax calculations, return filing, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and productivity tools (e.g., Tally, ERP systems, MS Excel) and the ability to maintain accurate digital records.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for financial analysis, variance analysis, and supporting audits and due diligence activities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and clients, with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Relevant academic background such as a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications (Semi-Qualified CA/ACCA or in pursuit) are an advantage.
• Understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks related to Companies Act, banking processes, and project finance is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Prayagraj, demonstrating integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to high professional standards.
