Key responsibility:

• Reviewing insurance applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Assessing risk factors and determining insurability.
• Setting premium rates and coverage terms.
• Making decisions on policy approval or rejection.

  Maintaining compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborating with sales and claims departments.
• Analyzing underwriting data and identifying trends.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of insurance underwriting principles and regulations.
• Experience with underwriting software (preferred).
