Company Description Skill 4YU is a modern, future-ready learning platform that helps students move from I know to I can by focusing on practical capabilities for the real world. Complementing traditional schooling, it enables learners to explore their interests and develop skills in areas such as AI, entrepreneurship, personality development, financial literacy, content creation, and freelancing. Through a structured journey of exploring, building, testing, improving, presenting, and applying, students work on real-world projects rather than just theoretical concepts. The platform aims to help young people become confident, capable, curious, and prepared for college, careers, and life beyond school, regardless of whether they choose to become founders, freelancers, creators, or technologists.

Role Description The Entrepreneur Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for guiding students through Skill 4YUs entrepreneurship learning journey. In this role, the mentor designs and facilitates interactive sessions that help learners identify problems, develop solutions, and build practical projects or prototypes. The mentor supports students in understanding business fundamentals, validating ideas, and developing basic business models while encouraging creative thinking and informed decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring small groups, providing structured feedback, tracking student progress, and collaborating with the curriculum and teaching teams to refine activities and projects. The mentor also helps learners build confidence in presenting ideas, working in teams, and translating skills into meaningful opportunities.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurship and business skills, including experience with idea validation, basic business models, and problem-solving in real-world contexts.
• Mentoring and coaching abilities, with a focus on guiding school and college-age students through project-based learning and skill development.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to explain concepts clearly, lead discussions, and help learners present their ideas effectively.
• Facilitation and classroom management skills to run engaging sessions, support group activities, and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Ability to design or adapt practical exercises, projects, and case studies that align with Skill 4YUs focus on learn, build, test, improve, present, apply.
• Comfort with modern tools and basic digital literacy to support activities related to AI, content creation, and online collaboration.
• Bachelors degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or a related field; relevant entrepreneurial or mentoring experience is highly valued.
• Passion for youth development and a commitment to helping students become confident, capable, and future-ready.
