Role & responsibilities

Responsible for leading the fabrication of structural steel towers and components, including galvanizing processes, for diverse applications such as power transmission, telecom, and railway projects. The role involves managing batch-wise production using rolling mills, precision fabrication, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Plan and manage batch-wise production schedules for structural steel towers and components, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Oversee rolling mill operations for milling raw materials into standardized structural shapes such as angles, channels, and joists.

• Supervise precision fabrication of beams, columns, trusses, and other structural elements.
• Ensure galvanizing processes are executed to meet corrosion protection standards for power, telecom, and railway applications.
• Manage production of lattice and monopole towers for high-voltage electrical power lines, including four-legged angular towers and tubular towers.
• Coordinate manufacturing of hot-rolled structures like angles, channels, and joists.
• Oversee fabrication of telecom towers including triangular and square lattice towers, monopoles, rooftop structures (penetrating and non-penetrating), and ground-based towers for 4G projects.
• Manage production of railway electrification structures such as galvanized steel components for OHE and traction substations (TSS).
• Manage fabrication of steel cabinets and enclosures for railway and rural electrification projects.
• Implement strict quality control measures at every stage of production, from raw material inspection to finished components.
• Collaborate with design, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth execution of projects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Expertise in structural steel fabrication processes, galvanizing techniques, and rolling mill operations.
• Strong knowledge of batch production planning and workflow optimization.
• Proficiency in fabrication tools, equipment, and relevant software. • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or equivalent. Postgraduate qualification in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering (preferred).
