Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wealth Manager role based in Lucknow. The Wealth Manager will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and life stage, and design customized wealth management strategies. Daily responsibilities include conducting financial assessments, recommending investment products across mutual funds, equities, fixed income, insurance, and other instruments, and regularly reviewing portfolio performance. The role involves monitoring market trends, coordinating with research and product teams, and ensuring advice remains aligned with client objectives and regulatory guidelines. The Wealth Manager will also maintain long-term client relationships, prepare reports and presentations, and support business development initiatives while upholding SMIFS client-first and risk-disciplined approach.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Financial Planning, including goal-based planning, retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, and cash flow analysis.
• Candidates should possess skills in Investment Management and Investments, covering asset allocation, portfolio construction, product selection, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Finance, including capital markets, economic indicators, risk-return concepts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Candidates should possess understanding of Insurance solutions, including life, health, and general insurance products, and their role in comprehensive financial planning.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or related fields; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, NISM, NCFM, CFA level(s)) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret market research and explain complex concepts in clear, client-friendly language.
• Proven relationship-management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, handle confidential information responsibly, and work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Comfort with using digital tools and platforms for portfolio tracking, reporting, CRM, and compliance; prior experience in wealth management or financial advisory is preferred.
