Engineer/ Section Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Core Inspection skills and knowledge and handling of all measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of different manufacturing commodities forging, Heat-treatment, sheet metal, Plastic and Rubber.
• Knowledge of material science (Heat treatment and metallurgy)
• Finalizing inspection agreement with suppliers.
• Data management related to reports and documentation.

• Handling of customer related issues.
• Experience in supplier revalidation audits and product process audits
• Knowledge of using QC Tools for defect analysis.
• Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
• Focus on Poke Yoke to capture defects online look for opportunities of improvement and develop new efficient processes.
• Good understanding of ISO-IATF/OHSAS/EMS documentation and implementation
• Knowledge of machining, Welding and Heat treatment processes.

  Knowledge of Vendor System Audit & Substance of concerns in material requirements
• Preferred candidate profile
• Good command over RQA/SQA documentation.
• Must have good communication, analytical and technical skills.
• Measuring instrument handling like Profile projector, BHN Hardness, VIcker's Hardness testing, Weld penetration testing etc.
• Supplier Audits.
• Must have experience in Sheet Metal.
