Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Consulting to lead offshore consulting operations, drive strategic outcomes, and execute a structured playbook focused on GenAI, Copilot, and business transformation initiatives.
This leader will be a strategic partner to the onshore team, ensuring delivery excellence, capability development, and client impact across verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution:
- Own and execute the Consulting Playbook across GenAI assessments, Copilot Factory, and Transformation thought leadership.
- Lead offshore delivery for AI-driven transformation programs, ensuring alignment with client outcomes and ROI.
- Drive value realization through structured frameworks: discovery, analysis, synthesis, and board-ready deliverables.
Operational Excellence:
- Build and manage a high-performing consulting team across Business Analyst, Techno-Functional Analyst, and Strategic Consultant tracks.
- Ensure repeatable, scalable delivery models for Copilot and GenAI solutions.
- Establish governance, sprint-based execution, and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Capability Development:
- Implement the Career Progression Framework and Learning & Development plans to upskill consultants in AI, Enterprise Apps, and strategic consulting.

- Champion Copilot creation mastery across the team to differentiate Sonatas consulting offerings.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to align on business priorities, success metrics, and transformation journeys.
- Support Go-to-Market strategies including workshops, vertical packages, and managed services.
Communication & Influence:
- Demonstrates executive-level communication skillsable to engage CXOs, simplify complex ideas, and influence decision-making.
- Skilled in visual storytelling and crafting compelling narratives using tools like Power BI, Copilot, and GenAI.
- Facilitates structured workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions to define scope, success metrics, and transformation journeys.
Thought Leadership:
- Acts as a trusted advisor by bringing strategic insights, industry trends, and innovative frameworks to client engagements.
- Publishes internal and external thought pieces on AI adoption, Copilot strategy, and digital transformation.
- Drives consulting excellence by mentoring teams on strategic frameworks, competitive analysis, and value realization.
Execution & Impact:
- Converts strategic ideas into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones, governance, and measurable outcomes.
- Leads rapid prototyping and agile delivery cycles to accelerate time-to-value for clients.
- Champions a Factory Model mindsetbuilding scalable, repeatable consulting assets and playbooks.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 12-18 years in consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing consulting practice.
- Proven track record in driving digital transformation with AI and Enterprise Platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, Azure, Fabric, Purview) is a strong plus.
Skills:
- Strategic thinking, executive communication, and client engagement.
- Strong understanding of Copilot Factory models, GenAI assessments, and creating mindshare through prototypes.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams including AI architects, DevOps, domain experts, and designers.
Education:
- MBA or equivalent from a top-tier institution preferred or proven consulting practice leadership.
- Certifications in Agile, Scrum, Enterprise platforms, and AI technologies are desirable.
