We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM) Functional Consultant with strong expertise in implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation projects, business process analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing, user training, and post-go-live support.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and end users to deliver scalable supply chain solutions that optimize procurement, inventory, warehouse, production, and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities :
1. D365 SCM Implementation :
- Lead and participate in end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management implementation projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend standard D365 SCM capabilities.
- Configure SCM modules based on business requirements and industry best practices.
- Support solution deployment, testing, data migration, and production rollout.
- Ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.
2. Business Process Consulting :
- Conduct workshops with business users to understand current supply chain operations.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Translate business requirements into functional solution designs.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), Business Process Documents (BPD), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).
- Recommend process improvements aligned with Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities.
3. SCM Module Configuration :
- Configure, implement, and support the following D365 SCM modules :
1. Warehouse Management

2. Sales & Distribution
3. Master Planning
4. Product Information Management (PIM)
5. Production Control
6. Vendor Collaboration
4. Solution Design :
- Configure organizational structures, warehouses, inventory dimensions, item models, and supply chain parameters.
- Configure procurement workflows and approval processes.
- Support inventory control, replenishment strategies, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment.
- Design scalable supply chain solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure solutions comply with business requirements and industry best practices.
5. Data Migration & Integration :
- Support master data preparation, cleansing, and validation.
- Coordinate data migration activities from legacy systems to D365 SCM.
- Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations with ERP, CRM, WMS, logistics platforms, and third-party applications.
- Validate migrated data and perform reconciliation activities.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance :
- Prepare functional test plans, scenarios, and test scripts.
- Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, track, and resolve functional issues.
- Validate business processes before production deployment.
- Ensure solution quality and functional compliance.
7. User Training & Change Management :
- Conduct end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops.
- Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and training documentation.
- Support organizational change management initiatives.
- Guide business users during implementation and system adoption.
8. Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support :
- Support go-live planning and execution.
- Provide hypercare and post-go-live functional support.
- Troubleshoot application issues and recommend long-term solutions.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Assist with enhancement requests and future system upgrades.
9. Stakeholder Management :
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, solution architects, developers, QA teams, and external clients.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective communication between functional and technical teams.
