Senior Manager – Commercial Excellence and Contract Management
Location: Mumbai| Function: Finance and Accounts
Reports to: Lead - Commercial Excellence and Contract Management
Purpose
To drive effective execution and governance of contract management, transaction compliance, and audit processes across commercial operations. The role supports the Lead in strengthening internal controls, ensuring policy adherence, mitigating risks, and driving process efficiencies through structured reviews and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction & Contract Governance
- Review and approve Purchase Orders, Deal Memos, and Vendor Contracts for both commercial and non-commercial content transactions.
- Execute Level 2 approvals for master data and system workflows.
- Validate and authorize Media Product master-related transactions.
- Monitor and review open purchase orders for compliance and closure.
- Conduct quarterly vendor master reviews to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
System & Process Oversight
- Weekly meetings with technical partners to resolve system-related issues.
- Review updates made to supply chain SOPs.
- Prepare quarterly compliance decks for management reporting
Production & Content Audits
- Conduct audits for digital shows, OAP, Spike, Outdoor shoot and set construction projects, including fortnightly and ad-hoc meetings.
- Perform monthly CCM reviews to validate compliance and operational accuracy.
Audit & Compliance Management
- Manage monthly data uploads, provide supporting documents, and clarify queries raised during SOX audits.
- Support IFC, GRC, and corporate audits by providing data, documentation, and management responses.
- Handle unplanned audits with timely data provision and clarifications.
- Conduct periodic reconciliations between contractual commitments and actual execution, identify financial or operational deviations and corrective actions. Define escalation protocols, coordinate with Commercial, Legal, Finance, and Business for timely resolution of exceptions, and maintain proper documentation and audit trails

- Open PO Closure Rate: within defined timelines
