Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Product Safety & SAP EHS/S4HANA to lead global product safety, regulatory compliance, and system governance initiatives. This senior role is critical in ensuring compliant market access through robust hazard classification, safety data management, and SAP EHS/S4HANA system oversight. The position partners closely with regulatory experts, business teams, and IT stakeholders to maintain data integrity, optimize processes, and support global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SAP EHS/S4HANA system and regulatory data management activities, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and compliance
• Drive process improvements across product safety, regulatory operations, and IT interfaces
• Perform and oversee hazard classifications in line with GHS, Dangerous Goods, and local regulations
• 
  Assess and communicate transport safety risks across all applicable routes and modes
• Author and manage regionally compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and label content
• Ensure availability of mandatory regulatory documentation to support product marketability
• Develop and maintain expert rules, SDS/WWI templates, multilingual phrase libraries, and reporting tools
• Support system users, manage authorizations, and deliver training as required
• Maintain interfaces with other enterprise systems and external regulatory content providers
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing technical and regulatory expertise to support business decisions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
• Extensive experience in the chemical, life sciences, or biopharmaceutical industry
• Strong handson expertise with SAP EHS/S4HANA and regulatory data management

• Valid Dangerous Goods compliance certification (e.g., air, road, or regional frameworks)
• Business fluency in English and German
