Job Description

    The role holder will be a part of the Committee Secretariat Team, focusing on providing secretariat support for Key Risk and Compliance Committees of the bank as well as addressing general governance and policy matters related to committee operations and risk governance tasks. These Committees are attended by senior management of the Bank. You will work closely with a dedicated onshore manager covering content-driven topics and senior stakeholder management, the Chairperson, and nominated representatives.
    You should bring the following experience and capabilities:
    - Experience in financial services, preferably with subject matter expertise in risk management.
    - Experience in a Committee Secretariat Role, preferably a certified company secretary.
    - Good communicator, particularly in written English communications; capable of drafting clear and meaningful emails and interacting with Senior stakeholders in the bank.
    - Collaborative mindset: working as part of a broader team to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach.
    - Efficient organizer of incoming requests within the team, including quick retrieval of information when needed.
    - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Practical and proactive in problem-solving.
    - Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the Group's core values.
    - Ownership mindset, displaying creativity and openness to new ideas.
    - Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple demands simultaneously.
    - Strong experience in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
    Your key responsibilities will include:
    - Providing daily secretariat support for various Committee meetings, including assembling Committee and Chairperson packs, chasing and reviewing papers, tracking action items, managing meeting logistics, transcribing meeting minutes, scheduling future Committee meetings, and confirming attendance.
    - Supporting general governance and policy matters related to committee operations and risk governance tasks, such as executing operational risk controls, assisting with annual Committee Effectiveness Review, and maintaining Committee Governance Standards on the intranet.

    - Working closely with the Chairperson and other committee members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    - Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth committee meetings and ensure presenters are prepared and meeting packs are ready.
    You will also be responsible for carrying out short-term activities as requested by the Chairperson and Committee Secretariat Lead, supporting the implementation of the Group's Enterprise Risk Management Framework activities, and ensuring that necessary controls meet regulatory requirements.
    Key stakeholders you will interact with include Committee Chairpersons, members, invitees, contributors of papers, colleagues from Risk and Compliance departments, Group Internal Audit, and Country Regulators among others.
    You should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial services, particularly in risk management, along with professional certifications related to Committee Secretariat. Compliance with mandatory e-learning is also required.
