Head Of Compliance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Head AIF to lead and oversee the complete compliance and regulatory framework of Steptrade Capital Private Limited. The role requires in-depth knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations, investor compliance, and internal governance. The selected candidate will work from our Ahmedabad office and manage a team of three members. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure full compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations, circulars, and statutory guidelines.

Manage all regulatory filings, disclosures, PPM updates, audit reports, and SEBI submissions.

Handle investor onboarding, KYC/AML checks, documentation review, and fund compliance.

Review investment transactions and fund activities for regulatory and policy adherence.

Maintain compliance records, registers, documentation, and audit-ready files.

Develop, implement, and monitor internal compliance policies and SOPs.

Conduct periodic internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.

Coordinate with SEBI, external auditors, trustees, legal counsel, and consultants.

Support senior management with compliance insights, regulatory updates, and governance matters.

Guide and coordinate with the internal team of three members on daily compliance tasks.

Requirements:

68 years experience in AIF/PMS/SEBI-regulated compliance.

Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations, Companies Act, KYC & AML norms.

Expertise in regulatory filings, documentation, and internal audit processes.

Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

Qualifications: CS/LLB/CA/CFA preferred.

Must be willing to work full-time from the Ahmedabad office.
