Head - Institutional Placement - Banking/Financial Services

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Head - Institutional Placement to lead fundraising and investor placement for IPO transactions. The role will leverage strong relationships with AIFs, Mutual Funds, PMSs, Family Offices, HNIs, UHNIs, Wealth Management Firms and institutional investors to generate investor participation. The individual will manage investor outreach, meetings, negotiations and fundraising closure while working closely with the deal and research teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead institutional fundraising for IPO projects prepared and developed by the company, taking the opportunity to the right investors and driving the fundraising process through successful closure.
- Develop and maintain a strong investor network across AIFs, mutual funds, PMSs, family offices, HNIs, institutional investors and strategic investors.
- Identify the right investors for each transaction based on sector, ticket size, investment mandate and transaction structure.
- Lead investor outreach, deal presentations, management meetings, negotiations and transaction closure.
- Build and maintain an active institutional investor pipeline for upcoming Pre-IPO opportunities.
- Work closely with the deal origination and execution teams to understand transaction positioning, valuation and investor requirements.
- Independently manage investor relationships and drive fundraising/placement closure.
Critical Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in institutional sales, equity placement, investment banking, merchant banking, Pre-IPO or capital markets.
- Strong, active relationships with AIFs, mutual funds, PMSs, family offices, HNIs and institutional investors.
- Proven experience in IPO/private placement fundraising.
- Strong understanding of investor behavior, transaction positioning and equity capital markets.
- Must have a genuine investor network capable of generating transaction-level participation, not only relationship-management experience.
