Job Description

**Role Overview:**
As an IT Head at STL, you will be responsible for overseeing all IT functions for the Customer in the Metal and Mining Business. Your role will involve managing the technology operations, implementing new IT systems, and ensuring that IT systems and personnel are effective and aligned with the company's budget, time, and specifications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Drive IT Operations across entities of the Customer based out of Jharsuguda
- Manage IT service vendor relationships with SLAs
- Ensure smooth IT site operations and management
- Execute short-term and long-term projects for IT
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partnership strategy for driving analytics
- Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support upper management's strategies
- Analyze technology needs of all departments based on business requirements
- Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software
- Inspect and ensure functionality and efficiency of technological equipment and software
- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management
- Coordinate IT managers and supervise professionals to provide guidance
- Control budget and report on expenditure
- Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
**Qualifications Required:**
- Strong acumen on Cyber Security, VAPT, SOX, ISO 27001:2013, and Data Governance audit handling & compliance management
- Proven experience as an IT Lead or similar role
- Ability to multitask, good project management skills, competitive knowledge on business and technology
- Strong IT service vendor management skills, achieving SLA and customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Business acumen, task-oriented, understanding of ITIL, governance of IT operations & application management
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Digital IT enabler
