Spearheading Financial Analysis and Strategic Bid Development across the GCC Premier School Transport and Private Hire Sector.
In this role, youll be at the forefront of evaluating commercial opportunities for STS, a leader in school transport and private hire services in the UAE. With a responsibility for the safety and timely transit of over 90,000 students daily and significant employee transportation projects, the role holders’ insights and analyses will directly contribute to our commitment to Safe, Timely, Smart service delivery. Youll be tasked with analysing financial risks, refining bid models based on evolving business and market conditions, and preparing comprehensive documentation for executive review.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or relevant field demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
- Masters’ degree is highly desired.
- A minimum of two years of previous work experience in corporate finance demonstrating a practical understanding of financial strategies and operations in a corporate environment.
- Chartered Accountancy Certification, reflecting advanced expertise and adherence to professional standards in accounting.
- In-depth Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Corporate finance principles, essential for strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite for efficient data management and analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and robust analytical skills, enabling precise financial analysis.
- Strong networking abilities, essential for effective communication and problem resolution with various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, complemented by analytical, technical, IT, and numerical capabilities.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a proven ability to contribute effectively to team objectives and collaborate with colleagues across various departments.
- Experience in project management.
- Strong commercial awareness, showcasing an understanding of market trends, business operations, and financial dynamics.
