Job Description
Role of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - AYUSH CCRH Project
Project Title: "Evaluating Homoeopathy as an Add-On Treatment to Standard Care in The Management of Resistant Hypertension and Cardiovascular Protection: A Randomized, Double Blind, Controlled, Exploratory, Feasibility Trial"
The Senior Research Fellow (SRF) will contribute to the execution of a research initiative funded by the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRFH) under the Ministry of AYUSH. The position demands academic rigour, ethical sensitivity, and a commitment to advancing evidence-based homoeopathic research.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Technical Work
- Conduct literature reviews, protocol-based clinical trials, and data analysis
- Perform patient interviews, case taking, case analysis, re-evaluation, and prescription under the guidance of the Pl, Co-Pl, and Co-Investigators
- Assist in designing and refining research methodologies in accordance with CCRH guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, results, and observations
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare interim and final project reports for submission to CCRH
- Draft manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Ensure compliance with AYUSH and institutional ethical standards
- Liaise with CCRH officials and team members, institutional ethics committees, the Research Cell, and collaborating departments
- Participate in review meetings, workshops, and dissemination activities
- Support the PI in preparing presentations, reports, and policy briefs
Administrative & Logistical Support
- Assist in the procurement of project materials and equipment
- Maintain inventory and ensure timely utilization of project funds
- Facilitate audits and respond to queries from funding agencies
Reporting Authority
Primary Reporting
- Principal Investigator (PI) of the AYUSH CCRH project
- Responsible for day-to-day supervision, task allocation, and performance review
Secondary Oversight
- The Director Research & innovation.
- Through the Pl, the SRF may ensure alignment and communicate with university norms and facilitate interdepartmental coordination.

Funding Agency Interface
- Through the Pl, the SRF may contribute to communications with CCRH, particularly during monitoring visits, review meetings, and reporting cycles
All tasks assigned by the authority must be completed within the given timeframe.
Qualification
Essential:
1. P.G.in Homoeopathy from a recognized Statutory Board/Council/University included I 2nd Schedule to CCRH Act, 1973.
2. Enrolment on the Central Register of CCRH or State Bord of Homoeopathy.
OR
1. Degree in Homoeopathy from a recognized University/Institute.
2. Enrolment on the Central Register of CCRH or State Board of Homoeopathy.
3. 03(three) years research experience.
Desirable:
1. NET/GATE/RET qualified candidates will be given preference.
2. Knowledge of basic computer operation.
Age: 35 years and below
