Job Description
- You will be responsible for deal origination, maintaining close relationships with existing clients, and developing new relationships. Your role will involve pro-actively engaging with clients to originate business across various product suites of the Bank, including trade products, cash management, account bank, FX & derivatives, treasury services, project finance, and structured finance products. You will actively pitch new financing ideas and tailored financial solutions to clients by leveraging industry knowledge, expertise, and risk assessment. It will be important to identify and monitor market developments and opportunities, including business matching opportunities with global relationship clients.
In terms of deal execution, you will lead the execution process by reviewing and preparing credit proposals, reviewing financial models, structuring and negotiating term sheets, documentation, and disbursement. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and clients as necessary, guiding junior members on the origination and execution process. Additionally, you will assist in advisory mandates when selected and prepare materials for clients regarding deal execution.

The ideal candidate for this role would hold an MBA or CA (first attempt) qualification, possess good written and verbal communication skills, and have 7-12 years of relevant work experience, preferably in M&A, project finance, or structured finance. Experience in M&A would be viewed favorably. Work experience in the Energy and Infrastructure space, particularly with direct experience in Renewable Energy, would be given preference. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of loan documentation, transaction structuring skills, and an understanding of the credit process. Financial modeling skills will also be beneficial for this position.,
