Branch Credit Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding of credit policy and process thoroughly including the products available.
• Completing the loan application process from login to disbursement by collecting all the required documents.
• Scrutinizing the documents shared by the customer to check the eligibility and for accuracy/genuineness of the documents to consider the application for loan eligibility.
• Credit Appraisal of Loan applications within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision or recommend for approval to higher authorities.
• Under writing cases with desired level of quality and enabling achievement of Branch Business target by proper training.

• Conduct personal discussion with customers to establish Credit worthiness.
• Use performance history along with financial analysis, liquidity, debt/asset management and profitability ratios to assess creditworthiness in evaluation.
• Interact with Customers & understand the business and regularly monitor delinquencies.
• Decision making within defined TAT.
• Understanding of property/collateral related knowledge (like legal title and market value of the property)
• Credit underwriting on the customer to make sure that customer fits into various lending parameters.
• Identifying strengths and risks for any proposal and prepare a SWOT analysis around it.

  Get Hired
  Regularly interacting with the FI agency, Legal, Technical team, RCU team for timely reports.
• Coordinating with Operations team for disbursement.
• Handling audit queries and providing clarifications.

Preferred candidate profile

3+ years of experience in underwriting home loan/non home loan/construction finance products/NBFC or Banking Industries / related companies.

(Experienced in Prime Products & High Ticket Volumes credit underwriting)
