Were looking for a Backend Engineer (.NET / Golang / Node.js / Java) to help power the infrastructure behind our realtime multiplayer games. Youll be building scalable backend systems that support thousands of concurrent players, enabling fast, reliable gameplay experiences.
In this role, youll work closely with game developers, product teams, and DevOps to design and build services that power matchmaking, game sessions, player progression, and live game systems. If you enjoy solving complex distributed systems problems and building technology that directly impacts how players experience games, this role is for you.
Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using .NET/ Golang/ Node.js / Java to support the infrastructure for realtime multiplayer games.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including game developers, frontend engineers, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration of backend systems.
• Contribute to the development of microservices architecture to ensure scalability, modularity, and maintainability of backend components.
• 
  Work with cloud platforms such as GCP to deploy and manage backend services, ensuring performance and scalability for a high volume of concurrent users.
• Design and document APIs for game features, ensuring clarity and ease of use for internal teams and integrations.
• Implement bidirectional communication services using WebSockets, gRPC, or similar technologies to enable low-latency communication between game clients and servers.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and observability to ensure reliability and enable fast debugging of live game systems.
• Build and maintain services that capture gameplay to support data-driven game improvements.
  

Experience & Skills Required

• 35 years of backend development experience using .NET / Golang / Node.js / Java. (.NET is preferred)
• Understanding of realtime multiplayer game systems and the challenges of low-latency environments.

Get Hired
• Experience building high-concurrency systems serving thousands of simultaneous users.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience implementing bidirectional communication using WebSockets, gRPC, or similar technologies.
• Strong API design and documentation practices.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization and scalable backend design.
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
