Job Description
- As a VM Ware Administrator, your role will involve administering and maintaining VMware vSphere and VMware ESXi hosts. This includes configuration, deployment, and routine maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for managing VMware vCenter Server to monitor and control ESXi hosts and virtual machines (VMs) centrally. Your duties will also include creating, configuring, deploying, and managing virtual machines (VMs) and VM templates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage VMware clusters, resource pools, DRS, and high availability (HA) settings.
- Manage and optimize storage solutions such as VMware vSAN, NFS, and other storage integrations.
- Configure and manage VMware networking, including vSwitches, Distributed Switches (vDS), and network policies.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of storage and network resources in virtual environments.
- Implement, manage, and maintain VM backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Design, test, and update disaster recovery (DR) plans for VMware infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VMs, host servers, storage, and networking.
- Provide expert-level technical support to internal teams using VMware infrastructure for critical business applications.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all VMware systems, configurations, operational procedures, and recovery processes.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation / Engineering in IT background
- 3+ years of experience in VMware administration
In this role, you will be expected to work full-time at the Gurugram location. Additionally, you will be eligible for benefits such as health insurance and Provident Fund. This position requires in-person work.,
