Job Title - Intern - Legal
Duration - 6 months
We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support our in-house legal team in contract drafting, review, and data protection compliance activities. The intern will assist in day-to-day legal operations and should be able to quickly understand team workflows and contribute effectively to ongoing legal processes.
This role offers hands-on experience in commercial contracts and data protection compliance, along with exposure to real world legal operations in a corporate environment. The intern will have the opportunity to work closely with the Legal team and gain a practical understanding of end-to-end legal processes.
Key Responsibilities - The intern will assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating legal agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Agreements, and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
- The role will also involve supporting the Legal team on data protection and privacy compliance matters, conducting legal research on applicable data protection laws and contractual best practices, and assisting in the maintenance and organization of contract templates and legal documentation.
- Additionally, the intern will support internal stakeholders by addressing basic contract related queries under supervision, help streamline and document internal legal processes and workflows, and assist with compliance tracking and other internal legal documentation as required.

- The candidate should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a law degree (LLB, LLM, or equivalent) and have prior experience or exposure to drafting or reviewing commercial agreements, order forms or other documentation.
- Prior internship or hands-on experience with a corporate legal team or a law firm is preferred, along with exposure to SaaS, technology, or commercial contracts.
- A basic understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessment and knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations is required.
- The candidate should possess strong legal drafting and written communication skills, demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp legal concepts, internal processes, and instructions, have good attention to detail and organizational skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
