Job Description
Role Overview:
The HR Head will partner with business leadership to drive HR strategy, talent management, and organizational effectiveness. This role ensures alignment of HR practices with business priorities while building a high-performance and inclusive culture.
Job Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Business Alignment
- Partner with senior leadership on organizational design, succession planning, and change management to enable scalable growth.
- Align HR frameworks and initiatives with business needs to build a high-performance culture.
- Drive workforce planning, ensuring the right talent is available at the right time.
- Provide insights on HR trends including talent management, organizational development, and regulatory changes.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead hiring for leadership and critical business roles with strong employer branding and competency-based frameworks.
- Implement innovative sourcing and digital recruitment strategies.
- Approve compensation offers and interview senior candidates
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in hiring and talent development.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as trusted advisor to business leaders on people matters, guiding HRBPs and handling complex ER issues.
- Foster a transparent, collaborative, and values-driven culture aligned with SG purpose.
4. Performance Management & Talent Development
- Oversee performance management framework, ensuring effective goal setting, feedback, and appraisals.
- Build career frameworks, international rotations, and leadership development programs.
- Drive recognition and reward programs to encourage innovation and performance.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Ensure competitive compensation aligned with market and business strategy.
- Partner with Total Rewards on incentive design, salary revisions, and promotion cycles.
- Maintain internal equity and compliance, while enhancing benefits programs for retention.
6. HR Policies & Compliance
- Establish and enforce HR policies in line with labor laws and governance.
- Conduct audits, mitigate compliance risks, and ensure consistency across units.
- Regularly update policies with external best practices.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting

- Provide strategic insights to leadership using dashboards and analytics.
- Leverage technology to automate and improve HR processes.
8. HR Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the HR team, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Optimize team structures, succession, and capacity planning.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA in HR / Business Management or equivalent.
- Experience: 15+ years in HR leadership/HRBP roles with expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and people management practices.
