Project Planning (AIG)

Purpose:

To lead the centralized project planning function across AIG projects by developing execution strategies, schedules, resource plans, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure project delivery within timelines, cost, quality, and safety parameters.

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones
• Define planning standards, templates, and execution frameworks
• Identify risks, critical paths, and dependencies

Monitoring & Control

• Track project progress vs plan and highlight deviations
• Drive corrective action and recovery plans
• Lead periodic planning reviews and MIS reporting

Resource & Cost Planning

• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
• Optimize resource allocation across projects
• Support cost control through planning inputs

Cross Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Execution teams
• Align project timelines and dependencies across stakeholders
• Interface with real estate developers, consultants, and contractors

Risk Management

• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies
• Develop contingency plans and scenario analysis

Systems & Process Improvement

• Implement planning tools (Primavera/MSP dashboards)
• Standardize MIS, reporting formats, and governance processes

Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Build and lead project planning team
• Develop planning capability across sites

Education:

Engineering Graduate (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)

Relevant Experience:

8-10 years in project planning / execution
