We are looking for an experiencedShopify Apps Developerto build and scale a custom private application similar to advanced AI-powered search and filtering solutions (like Sobooster). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Shopify app development, backend systems, and building high-performance search and merchandising tools for e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customShopify apps(private & public apps)
• Build advancedsearch, filtering, and product recommendation systems
• Design scalable backend architecture for handling large product catalogs
• Integrate Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks)
• ImplementAI-based or rule-based product ranking and merchandising
• Optimize app performance, speed, and scalability
• Work onElasticsearch / Algolia / custom search engines
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams for seamless UX
  
• Ensure secure authentication (OAuth) and data handling

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 45 years of experience inShopify app development
• Strong knowledge ofNode.js / Python / PHP(any backend stack)
• Experience withShopify Polaris & App Bridge
• Hands-on experience withREST & GraphQL APIs
• Experience withsearch technologies(Elasticsearch, Algolia, etc.)
