The SwitchON Foundation is part of the ON Universe, which operates accelerator, impact fund and advisory that is dedicated to supporting proximate climate startups / social entrepreneurs andFPCSs. Through the Greenovation and ONganic Accelerator—which runs challenges, bootcamps, and cohort-based programs—and the EarthON Fund, which leverages blended capital approaches, we address complex climate challenges across the Global South.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive the growth of our FPC and Agri Enterprise Accelerator. The role involves working closely with farmer-owned businesses, startups, investors, corporates, and ecosystem partners to strengthen market access, enterprise growth, fundraising, and investment readiness.

This is an opportunity to build and scale a high-impact platform that supports the next generation of agricultural and rural enterprises while creating meaningful impact for farming communities.

This role requires a combination of experience across agri marketing, FPO business development, startup ecosystems, fundraising, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Agri Marketing & Market Access - IPM / INM and Organic Produce

• Lead market linkage and commercialization strategies for FPOs and agri-enterprises.
• Develop B2B, B2G, institutional, retail, export, and value-chain partnerships.
• Support FPOs in product positioning, branding, aggregation, processing, and market expansion.
• Identify new market opportunities for agricultural produce, value-added products, and climate-smart enterprises.
• Build relationships with buyers, corporates, processors, retailers, exporters, and agri-market platforms.

Accelerator design

• Contribute to the design of accelerator programs for FPOs and rural agri business.
• Develop frameworks for FPO governance, enterprise growth, market readiness, and investment readiness, team capacity
• Build a strong mentor, investor, and partner network.

Enterprise Development

• Mentor founders and FPO leaders on business strategy, growth planning, and scaling.
• Support enterprises in developing sustainable business models and revenue streams.
• Facilitate access to grants, debt, equity, and blended finance.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Building

• Establish strategic partnerships with investors, incubators, corporates, government agencies, and development institutions.
• Position SwitchON as a leading organization in the FPO and agri-enterprise ecosystem.

Team & Program Management

• Build and lead a high-performing team.
• Ensure achievement of program outcomes, budgets, and impact metrics.
• Drive operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Fundraising and Project Development

• Develop proposals, concept notes, and new project opportunities.
• Build strategic partnerships to expand programs and accelerator initiatives.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8 - 15 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of entrepreneurship experience as:
• Founder / Co-Founder, OR
• Founding Team Member, OR
• Business Unit Leader with significant P&L responsibility.
• Proven experience working with FPOs, farmer collectives, producer companies, or agri-enterprises.
• Strong experience in agri marketing, market linkages, buyer engagement, value-chain development, or agri-business expansion.
• Experience leading teams of 4+ professionals.

Highly Preferred

• Experience in agritech startups, agribusinesses, accelerators, incubators, or impact enterprises.
• Exposure to investment readiness, venture building, or startup fundraising.
• MBA, PGDM, Agriculture, Rural Management, Agribusiness, or related qualification.
