Job Title: Finance Manager

Summary:
Hands-on Finance Manager with 10-12 years of experience to lead and manage the company's financial operations. As a key member of the leadership team, this position will work closely with the CEO to drive financial strategy, manage every aspect of P&L efficiently (Cost, pricing, Standard Margin, GM, Opex, EBITA, Interest) ensure statutory compliance, and partner with all key functional leaders of the organizations (Sale Managers, Marketing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Regulatory Manager & HR-manger) & help organization to drive profitable business growth in a fast-paced medical device startup environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualification: must be CA
- 8-12 years of relevant experience (startup or healthcare/medical device
experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
1. P/L management:
- Partner with CEO to monitor & drive revenue, cost, opex and profit
- Monitor pricing strategy, discounts and margins
- Monitor and control operating expenses (OPEX) and cost of goods sold (COGS)

- Drive cost optimization initiatives without impacting business performance
- Analyse fixed vs variable costs and improve cost efficiency
- Gross margin & profitability analysis ( product wise & segment wise)
2. Financial Planning & Strategy
- Partner with the CEO to develop financial strategy aligned with business goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Provide insights on cost optimization, pricing, and profitability
- Support fundraising efforts (investor decks, financial projections, due diligence)
3. Financial Operations & Reporting
- Prepare monthly P/L statement and share the MIS insight with CEO/Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial transactions
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and burn rate
- Establish and improve financial processes and controls
4. Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements
- Manage audits (internal and external)
- Stay updated on healthcare/medical device financial regulations and policies
- Oversee GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory obligations
- Review vendor contracts and procurement spend
5. Business Partnering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, sales, supply chain, regulatory & HR)
- Support decision-making with data-driven financial insights
- Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments
6. Risk Management & Governance
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure strong internal controls and governance frameworks
- Manage contracts, vendor payments, and financial liabilities
7. Team & Systems
- Build and manage a small finance team (as the company scales up in future)
- Implement and optimize ERP/accounting systems
- Drive automation and efficiency in finance processes
