- Ability to negotiate price reductions and delivery solutions to support our customers’ needs and provide manufacturing with the correct material at the right time for the right price
- Skilled in Modern Purchasing Practice.
- To Do Purchase Price Variance
- Able to do cost analysis of buyouts.
- Able to understand the contract and legal requirements for contract finalisation.
- Co-ordinate and plan sub-out activities such as machining and rolling.
- Should be able to interpret various ASME codes and Engineering drawings.
- Support the Supply chain and Plant operations for the strategic initiative process
- Formulate a strategy for reducing the lead time and improving turnaround time
- Analyse and provide feedback on Inventory control and Improvement
- Contributes to achieving on-time Delivery of the Plant
- Drive new product and vendor development.
- Should be able to analyse Purchase Price Variance.
- Good knowledge of Inco terms
- Good knowledge of Machining Components and Rate Calculation of Machined Parts.
- Order Preparation, Rate Contract Request, Job Order preparation based on requirements from the Planning Department and the Store Department.
- Follow up with the supplier for timely delivery & ensure acceptance of material.
- Review of requirements of material & Receipt of material every week.
