Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by working with critical data sets and providing insightful analysis. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, proficiency in SQL, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements for effective operations functioning.
• Acquire, clean, and transform data from various sources using Excel and other tools to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform data analysis in Excel to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact decision-making and operations.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros) to streamline data processing and reporting.
• Assist in developing and maintaining automated data pipelines, reports, and dashboards for regular monitoring.
• Generate ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior team members, presenting findings in a clear and visually appealing manner using Excel charts and graphs.
• Work on data quality assurance to ensure consistency and validity of information.
• Identify opportunities to improve data collection processes and enhance data accuracy, using Excel as a tool for data validation.
• Use SQL to query and manipulate databases for data extraction and reporting.
• Support the development and maintenance of data documentation, including data dictionaries and standard operating procedures.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, operations, and Excel capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL is plus; experience with other programming languages or data analysis tools is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to use complex functions and features for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with data visualization is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
• Previous experience or internships in a data analysis role is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
