Relationship Officer (Personal Loan)

We are looking for a results-driven Relationship Officer – Personal Loans to join our retail banking team in Dubai. You will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking personal finance solutions, responsible for end-to-end loan origination, client onboarding, and portfolio management

Key Responsibilities

• Acquire and manage a portfolio of personal loan customers through referrals, walk-ins, and field sales activities across Dubai
• Conduct needs-based financial assessments and recommend suitable personal loan products (salary transfer loans, cash loans, Islamic finance)
• Drive loan disbursements to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation for KYC, credit checks, and loan processing per CBUAE guidelines
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with salaried and self-employed clients
• Coordinate with credit underwriting, operations, and compliance teams for smooth loan processing
• Cross-sell complementary banking products such as credit cards, insurance, and savings accounts
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor offerings and market trends in UAE personal lending
• Proactively manage delinquency and early arrears through regular client engagement

Required Skills:

• 2–5 years of experience in personal loans, retail banking, or direct sales within a UAE-licensed bank or finance company.
• Strong knowledge of UAE personal lending products, eligibility criteria, and CBUAE regulations
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage.
