Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead finance and accounting activities at our Vemagal facility. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, working capital, compliance, internal controls and team leadership while partnering closely with plant and corporate stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting, month-end/year-end closure, GL reviews, MIS and financial reporting.
• Drive AOP, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis and provide actionable insights to plant leadership.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, GRIR reconciliation, P2P and O2C processes.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS/IFRS, GST, TDS, Income Tax, Customs and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity planning and banking-related activities.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalisation, depreciation and physical verification.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, SOPs and audit compliance.
• Support statutory, internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Lead and develop a team of 5 finance professionals, driving accountability and process excellence.
• Partner with plant leadership and functional teams on business cases, CAPEX and key financial decisions.

Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) and qualified member of ICAI.
• 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

  Get Hired
  Experience in Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Heavy Engineering or Capital Goods would be preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, taxation, budgeting, working capital and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP FI/CO preferred.
• Strong Excel, MIS, financial analysis and modelling skills.
• Prior experience managing and developing a finance team.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
