Quality Assurance And Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Quality Lab :Position 1

1.responsible for managing and executing all technical and operational activities within the laboratory and line Powder coating process

2.Conduct laboratory testing related to Powder coating and analysis according to established procedures, standards, and specifications.

3.Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.

4.Develop and update laboratory test methods, SOPs, and work instructions.

5.Process verification on line and handling non conformities on line, Resolving line issues related to test results

6.Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, internal standards).

7.Record, analyze, and interpret test data and prepare technical reports.

8.Maintain laboratory housekeeping, safety practices, and proper chemical/material handling.

Quality Receiving:Position 2

1.Responsible for receiving inspection of raw materials, components, and assemblies as per inspection plans and technical drawings.

2.Review supplier documentation including test reports, and material certifications.

3.Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, surface roughness Tester,contour Tracer and other inspection tools.

4.Identify and segregate non-conforming materials and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

5.Maintain inspection records and ensure proper documentation

6.Support supplier quality improvement initiatives and corrective action follow-up.

7.Monitor inspection KPIs such as rejection rates, supplier performance, and supplier PPM

8.Knowledge of SPC. MSA. Control chart, FMEA, PPAP.

Quality Assurance ( AOI - EOL)- Customer Quality :Position 3

'-Responsible for the quality assurance activities at the Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and End-of-Line (EOL) stages.

-Manage AOI and EOL inspection operations to ensure products comply with customer requirements and internal quality standards

-Monitor, analyze, and report quality metrics such as defect rates, and process capability.

-Investigate quality issues identified at AOI/EOL and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

-Interface with customers for quality audits, complaints, and feedback resolution.

-Lead root cause analysis for customer-reported defects and ensure timely closure.

-Ensure proper documentation and traceability of inspection results, test reports, and NCRs.

-Train and mentor quality engineers and inspectors in AOI/EOL best practices.

- Action plan & FPR Monitoring & action plan monitoring related to FPR

- Knowledge of SPC. MSA. Control chart, FMEA, 8D, PPAP.
